Hell, I’m an inclusionist and even I hate anonace.
I think anyone who has their head on right does and should.
I kinda feel sorry for them, cos there’s a LOT in their… “work” that suggests that they come from a hell of traumatic past (and from some FB sleuthing, they’re from a small town in Wisconsin, and honestly, most small towns in the Midwest have some serious issues with fundamental Christianity, so it would not at all surprise me if they’re carrying a lot of baggage from that kind of environment), and I honestly think that they’re just a NB lesbian who is carrying too much emotional distress around similar-gender sexual relationships to fully embrace that. It’s kind of hard to pinpoint, but it stands out to be that their penchant for calling themself “gay,” only really portrays their romantic interests as being with and toward women and woman-aligned people, and other things that start to stand out when reading their backlogue of comics and Asks…
It just feels like Luna Tiny / anon-ace is putting in just as much effort into convincing themself that they’re asexual as they are into convincing others. I really hope they get their shit together before it causes them further emotional distress, but I’m not holding my breath. Some people just have to hit some kind of mental health rock-bottom to up anything about it - and I’m saying this as a trans guy who had an serious emotional breakdown (that included clawing into my old chest with my fingernails hard enough that it didn’t just break skin, but the blood stained the mattress) before finally transitioning at the age of 26.
Of course, that empathy that I feel for what I believe their position is, doesn’t mean that I don’t think they should be accountable for all of the misinformation that they spread, especially their fundamentally harmful idea that “kinks arent inherently sexual” and promoting Discord servers and other spaces where actual perverts get to interact with minors, cos that shit is basically grooming young people for sexual abuse. Just cos I feel bad for LT doesn’t mean that I won’t call out their bullshit.
