An utterly fantastic submission from a reader who would prefer to remain anonymous - 19th century pornography in colour! This is no modern colourisation through digital means, but hand-tinting carefully applied at the time; a process usually seen in subtle pinking of the cheeks for portraits, or to colour the flowers on sentimental postcards -this is the first time I’ve ever seen it used to enhance an explicit smutty scene! Turn of the century titilation courtesy of Vincenzo Galdi, a smutty delight in an era where male nudity was generally presented as artistic innocence. Instead, he relishes the opportunity to provide startlingly saucy erotica featuring handsome Italian men, well-built, and often extremely well-endowed. We’ve seen a similar single shotbefore.

Truly living up to the title Antique Erotic, this little low-quality scrap of pornography dates back to the end of the 19th Century. I should love to see a finer copy, though even in this poorly reproduced form, it is possible to recognise both the setting and the stars : we saw them here putting a funnel to extraordinarily inventive use!

A new find from a familiar set of 19th Century pornography - clearly intended as the first in the series depicting the seduction of a well-dressed young man, as he is significantly more dressed at this point than the others I have posted thus far!

With his model draped in such a wanton, utterly deliciously debauched way, inviting not mere aesthetic admiration but outright lust and thoughts of satisfying deepest desires, turn-of-the-century photographer Vincenzo Galdi pushes way beyond the limits of decency in his era; abandoning all pretence of innocent artistic intentions, he creates some of the most startlingly sexual images of male nudity yet seen.

A new little snippet of smut for this set from 1880s France - how astonishing it is that such explicit content has survived so long in secrecy, before finding a new audience in the 21st century.

A fine example of Vincenzo Galdi’s unreservedly raunchy homoerotic scenes from the early years of the twentieth century.
There’s some debate on whether we see here a cleverly constructed duplication of the same ravishing model photographed in two poses, or twins - the profiles appear to differ in the other shot, though that may just be the angle of the heads, and it seems to me that the man on the left both times has tanned legs, while the one on the right, does not. And yet their bodies are so remarkably alike that they must surely be the same man twice! A puzzle indeed. What do you think?

A regrettably small but undoubtedly smutty photograph from around 1910; it is always such a pleasant surprise when more pornography from this era comes to light that even a tiny image, of admittedly a rather unprepossessing pose, should appear!

TitledThree Homosexual Men, this early erotic photograph, though faint, is a welcome addition to this collection, as genuinely pornographic content from the era is regrettably (though perhaps understandably) a little scarce!

We have seen this pair before, getting to grips with one another in an indoor approximation of a countryside scene, here they appear in a boudoir setting though a very similar situation! Few of these deliberately titilating vintage photographs have survived, each find is exciting indeed - all the more interesting when we can recognise the models from other shots.

One of the better-known and most beloved pornographic photoshoots from the Victorian era - two beautiful boys in stockings, flouncy petticoats, a wonderfully ill-fitting black corset, and wearing flowers in their hair. (For further shots, see here)

I know, I have posted this marvelous photograph before, but this copy is larger and fractionally less cropped, and I only need an excuse as thin as that white frilly petticoat to reblog anything from this photo set again!

This evening I’ve had the good fortune to receive an image and enquiry from a fellow enthusiast of antique erotic photographs. Although I’ve posted this very picture before (my other copy perhaps a little clearer and pleasantly sepia-toned), I’m more than happy to answer your questions, and share it with those who may not be familiar with this spectacular titlating tableau!

I would estimate a date in the 1880s or 1890s - a remarkable number of pornographic images were created around this time, with distinctive models and individual studios’ backdrops being recognisable in various sets.
However, all is not as it seems with this delightful piece - you are by no means the first to take it at face value and assume an orgy of impressive proportions was taking place : but look a little closer. This is in fact a composite image of six seperate photographs, carefully trimmed and pasted into one intricate scene, which was then reproduced as a print. The most obvious join can be seen just right of centre, from the tip of the fellow’s black-socked toe to the lower edge. Just oneofthese pictures has emerged alone, unedited - the rest are still waiting to be found and shared with the modern audience.

This remains one of my favourite vintage photos of all time, there’s nothing I don’t find completely beautiful and fascinating about this shot and those lovely, lovely models.

Submitted by Yanni (thankyou!), this picture features some lovely lusty young models we’ve seen before - two boys from the cut & paste orgy scene. Whether the fellow on his back is the third participant in the other set of pictures is impossible to ascertain from that angle, and I’ve never been entirely sure if the petticoated figure at the back is actually a lady and therefore intruding quite improperly into this collection of gentlemen - but as there’s undoubtedly male-on-male attentions in the foreground, I’m willing to disregard my doubts and add this anyway!

The third (and so far final) shot from this curiously amusing set of antique pornography; yet again the standing fellow’s madcap expression almost distracts all attention from what else is taking place! The previous shots can be seen hereandhere.

A pretty abysmal quality scan, but this is a single stray photograph from the Arabian Nights set posted previously, it seems to have escaped and got left out, and I couldn’t leave the poor lonely thing all forlorn and uncollected now, could I!
