It’s so weird to me how people are comparing Eren to Sasuke? When did Sasuke ever commit mass murder? Man never even killed any non-combatants. And he wasn’t the one causing the destruction of the world, he was one of the people who helped stop it.
Yeah S1 Eren and Sasuke may be similar in the sense that they were both obsessed with revenge but S4 Eren was much more similar to Itachi since they both thought “mass murder for the greater good” was a good idea and the other characters treated them like heroes for it.
This is just so dumb, it’s been 7 years and I still can’t get over how dumb people’s takes on Sasuke’s character are

What really rubs me the wrong way about ch 139 is how every character seem to be be grateful to Eren for…killing 80% of the population. And let me be clear, not only soldiers or even Merelians who were the reason some Eldians were on Paradis on the first place but everyone, indiscriminately. No matter the reason, if you kill people like those refugees kids we watched being killed, you need to present me a very good reason to explain why this mass murder is a “hero”. I really had to read Armin say “thank you for becoming a mass murderer for our sake”???? And what makes me laugh is that even Eren is self aware that it was an horrible thing to do and there is no possible forgiveness. The fact that he was framed like a hero who “sacrificed so much” is so stupid knowing that he forced 80% of the population to go through worse.
Just a question about the last chapter. What is Eren talking about when he mentioned Bert? That he had the smiling titan eat his mom because Dina was heading towards Bert, and Eren needed to save him for Armin? I don’t understand the connection, help.
With Gabi mentioning the parasite and their goal to destroy it I am now 99% sure that the series will end with the Titan power taken from humanity. I think this could help with solving the situation between Eldians and the other countries as well as save the shifters that are still alive at the end of the series. However it’s hard to tell how many shifters will be alive for them to benefit from the end of the “13 years curse” seeing how things are going.
If Isayama chickens out of the “Eren is bad” plot, I will be upset. No matter how you look at it, Eren was in control during the flashbacks and all the way up to unleashing the power of the founder. We have chapters from his point of view, so there’s not much going around it. Eren knew exactly what was going to happen because when he sees the two brothers he later has killed by the Rumbling, he knew they were going to die. And Eren knew all of it when he tried to contact his brother and for all the time he worked with the Yeagerists. He’s not less at fault because now it’s Ymir who is materially leading the titans, if that’s what Armin was implying in the last chapter.
If it ends with Eren being forgiven or ending up ‘not as bad as it seemed’, Isayama’d better come up with somethinggoodthat explains it. Not just something that makes sense (that’s a given at this point) but something really good and satisfying because anything half-assed at the end just to prove Eren was good all along would be a joke.
People trying to come up with a reason why Eren isn’t an evil mass murder VS people trying to explain why Dean has that expression while Cass confessed his love for him while being in love ™ with him
Will Zeke become the new King? I don’t know since, probably not since he’s got less than a year to live….but was that his agenda?
As a kid Zeke wasn’t very treated loved by his parents, I guess Grisha and Dina did love him, but trust me when I say that he was probably only born to carry out Grisha’s plan/wish to liberate the Eldian people….beautiful yet sad when you think about it.
But…I don’t think Zeke despises the plan his father had as much as he despised his father. Maybe he did see truth in what Grisha said and still wanted to carry out the plan,
But maybe things changed along the road when he found out his father had another son, behind the walls and not only that, his brother even possesses the Founding Titan.
What do you guys think? Zeke get’s a lot of shit for doing what he did, but can you blame him? Eren was treated better by Grisha so of course he wouldn’t hate and object what his father did as much as Zeke would, I don’t know what happened in that 4 year time period though, maybe one of them was able to persuade the other.
They really did admire Zeke and they always stood by his side, I bet if he had told them about his plan they would have supported him a 100%.
I just feel a pit in my gut knowing that Pieck and Porco were betrayed by their ‘warchief’ You can tell the hurt in Pieck’s eyes when she was talking about Yelena/Rope-chan, when she figured out that Zeke plotted against them.
People may not like the warriors, honestly they’re good kids, they were forced into something beyond them when they were young, just like the soldiers, they did what they had to do to make sure their loved ones would stay safe and not get hurt by the world or the Marleyans, just like Gabi told Falco.
But yeah long story short, the warriors will be back, i’d say around chapter 107/108 and I think they’re gonna be even more conflicted now.
