First: I forgot how much fun drawing bruises and blood is (Also if you look closely at prussia’s eyes, you’ll see a Concussion symptom )
Second: THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE PRUSSIA AND DENMARK CONTENT, THEY *DID* INTERACT HISTORICALLY GUYS
I’m,,, not going to write the entire history of it here, but look into the “first and second Schleswig war” if you want juicy details, I’ll just,,, sum it up real quick.
The first war (1848-1851) was basically because of uncertainty about who should control The Duchies of Schleswig-Holstein (and since the French Revolution just happened, people were itching for a revolution, y'know). Schleswig-Holstein was pretty much in between southern Denmark and Northern Germany, so there were inevitable conflicts, which had Sweden and Denmark going against Prussia and the Duchies of Schleswig-Holstein for control of the place.
Okay, but the Prussian’s had to leave, due to some international pressures or sumn, and because of that, Denmark won the war, and thus, rule over Schleswig-Holstein and Lauenberg.
BUT OH, THEN THERE’S ANOTHER WAR, BECAUSE PRUSSIA-AUSTRIA CROSSES THE BORDER INTO SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN which NOW technically holds under Danish rule!
So, uh, there’s another war
Prussia-Austria VS Denmark
And Denmark loses, so he had to hand over the Duchies of Schleswig-Holstein and Lauenberg to Prussia and Austria.
Boom.
