7 years is such an embarrassing amount of time to be consistently into the same thing… i am cringe but i am free
It’s coming to the end of the year so it’s time to pull out that classic #2018ArtSummary!! As usual there were months where I couldn’t create the art I wanted to & months where I made so much it was hard to pick a single piece to show. So here’s to everyone’s growth in 2019!
(˘̭⺫˘̭ ;)… it’s been a rough year, but at least there’s no empty boxes, and I really love the finished pieces I did this year, and I love the polished sketches I have as well.
But oof. Here’s hoping I have a better work/life balance this year and get a new job to help that nightmare…

So I’ve tried to keep up with redrawing my first digital drawing, and it went okay. I skipped a couple of years here and there…I can definitely see my own improvement and style forming, which is so so so weird for me to admit. I also drew the first two in SAI, the last two in CLIP.
Along with seeing improvement I see a vast number of areas I can improve upon further, and since I’m really not fully satisfied with this, I would like to come back this Winter and redraw this again…At least that means I’m getting better at looking at art?
Unfortunately, I did a st00p and didn’t save the .lip file properly, meaning any changes I want to make to the final 2016 image would entail too much work again. It’s not a project so I’m just gonna TRY and ignore all the mistakes I wanted to go back and change before realising my worst file mishap nightmare had come true. Hopefully you can too? ;D
