OHMYGOSH LOOK what I got in the post today!! All the way from the amazing Chantal Bourgonje, her new book with David Hoskins published by @hubbleandhattie ‘The Lucky Lucky Leaf’! And OHMYGOSH LOOK AGAIN me & @suzannedore are on the dedications page!!! We’re both in a critique group with Ms. Bourgonje & we had the absolute honour to watch this lovely book develop. Really, truly, seeing my beloved friends create beautiful stories, polish them & work them as far as they can then share them with the world is just lifeblood to me, I can imagine no greater pleasure. I love our crit group. I love sharing the journey of being artists & writers & illustrators, & I love love LOVE supporting people & their work. I’m so honoured to be written into this book, I did a little cry I did!! This is what is all about for me - supporting other creators, walking together, holding each other up. I’m so proud! This book is beautiful. I’m working on a little something so I’ll have the chance to support more artists soon, too, so I hope some of you will join me! Also go buy this book ✨ I’m a little overwhelmed RN
