Going a few hours back just after Anna’s bedroom window flew open and she called down from the initial shock she sat up in bed. She listened to the hurling wind for a moment, did she really here her sister’s voice ?

Anna: “ Hannah is that you ? ”

She shivered, it became really cold really fast inside her room. Then the room filled with whispers of Hannah calling for her - she sounded sad and lost.

Tears streamed down Anna’s face.

Meanwhile Liona and Sarai were sleeping deeply, exhausted from the intense research work they had done the last couple of days.

Mitras was still awake in bed, he had s bad feeling in his gut and didn’t want to miss a message from Saoirse if it came.

Saoirse had finally fallen asleep whispering that he hoped that Anna was safe…

The missing girl part 23 -

Once Sarai made it back home she first hurried up stairs to get a long awaited shower and a change of cloth into something more comfortable. Then she immediately headed down to find her mother in her little home office.

Sarai : “ Evening Mam can I ask you something about an old case ? ”

Mother : “ Well hello when did you get in ? It’s very late you should be in bed by now young lady ”

Sarai : “ Yes yes I know Mam but I had a good reason we were working on our final in the Apocrypha archive all day long and Saoirse found this old case of Lisa Bennett who you examined ”

Mother : “ Fine but that’s an exception I dont like you home that late ”

Sarai : “ Yes yes I promise, can you tell me now ? ”

Mother : “ Lisa Bennett you said…uhm yes I remember but she had no physical wounds. She had lost her sister in the woods of I got that right…wait let me check the file it’s been so long ”

She turned around checking her computer for the file of Bennett and once she found it, she first read through it before she turned back to her daughter

Mother : “ What exactly do you want to know ? ”

Sarai : “ Everything you know, anything could help Mam ”

Mother : “ She was diagnosed with mental instability and anxiety due to losing her sister under strange circumstances. Sadly they never found her sister, and she got into trouble with the authority later for they didn’t believe her story and it made her angry. She told me that she saw a huge eye in the woods glowing red…it sure sounded all strange ”

Sarai : “ Thanks Mam, poor her it really reminds me of Hannah and Anna. Is there an address by chance ? Or something ”

Mother: “ This is related to that missing girl case ? Alright yes I got one but it’s been ten years she might have moved ”

Sarai wrote the address down, kissed her Mam goodnight and texted the news to her friends. Finally a new lead.
