So this is what my Asgore’s hair looks like without his crown…
The first time I drew him, I made his hairline recede on accident. But I liked it and kept it up. And I guess it’s only his yellow mane that’s balding, he’s still got the short white goat fur on top.
Receding hairlines are kinda under-utilised and incredibly under-appreciated in character design because of ageism/beauty standards… I think it suits my handsome Asgore. Plus, I’ve known so many balding dads that it feels like a very Dad-ly feature to me.

Undyne is nearly done, only her arms are left. I made the fangs more uneven, her Undyin pupils white, and finally made the heart on her chest red for Determination! I think I let it be green just because I sketched in green, haha.
As for Asgore, I think I’ve figured out how to fill up the more detailed side! I especially enjoyed putting weird shapes in the gemstone (flames and triangles from the delta rune) and his eyes (six-petaled golden flowers and monster souls/upside down hearts) ~
