Okay hear me out: Sokka and Zuko have like 1928262911 inside jokes
I like the idea that Ambassador Sokka and Fire Lord Zuko not only joke around during meetings and important things, but also say random, offhanded remarks that no one gets but them.
Like Zuko’s about to begin a meeting and Sokka walks in to join, and he just mumbles “Hello, Sokka here” and Zuko, who’s barely been maintaining his composure, losing his mind.And the two of them are laughing themselves to tears while a bunch of advisors and generals sit there, completely lost.
Or in a discussion about the Avatar coming for a visit, Zuko mumbles to Sokka “Avatar state, yip yip!” and he and Sokka start giggling uncontrollably while someone goes “I’m sorry my lord… I’m afraid I don’t understand.”
Or at a royal dinner Sokka just cheekily says to Zuko “hey, jerkbender, you should tell these guys your uncle’s favorite tea joke. If you can remember it.”
And Zuko’s like “you’re still making fun of me for that?”
And Sokka just mockingly goes “LEaF mE aLoNe, iM bUSheD” while Zuko fumes and everyone is like “huh??”
I just really like the idea of that lol
