Eastpak: Black History Month (2020)
To celebrate Black History Month, each week Eastpak will be sharing and commissioning the works of talented creatives, working closely with artists of color to create a platform where they can celebrate black culture, as well as welcoming allies to join the conversation against racism. My illustration portrays a young black girl with fists in place of her Bantu knots. The black and white fists symbolise that the fight against racism must be fought together, with the help of allies to secure a safer future for black children.

Drastically different hair lengths was NOT cutting it (no pun intended) so I cut to a more even length and went red. I miss the length I had in the front a little, but it’s always better to have health over length
