Her Majesty The Queen broadcasts her annual Christmas message from Windenburg Castle
It has become a tradition to open the royal residences for a Christmas market. Last year the it took palce at Brindleton Palace, however this year the market moved with The Queen to Windenburg Castle!
I wish you all a very happy and merry Christmas! ❤️
Her Majesty The Queen hosted a state banquet in honour of the grand ducal couple and their sons. Both The Queen and The Grand Duke made a speech during the night, emphasising the great relations between the two countries.
While in the course of the speech Grand Duke Mathew announced how Prince Jerome of Estenbourg is slated to enter Stafford’s Newcrest Military Academy, it was the conclusion of the speech which drew the most acclaim.
“When I first visited Stafford, I was a young man, barely out of school. I stood awkwardly behind my late father, still learning how to rule and how to lead. While I cannot speak for Her Majesty the Queen, I remember our meeting and how impressed I was. Where I seemed to stumble beneath the weight of the expectations lain upon a royal heir, she spoke with poise and incredible grace. Standing here today, I am reminded of that meeting and how- though we have aged and learned- Her Majesty retains the nobility I saw when we first met.”
- His Royal Highness Mathew, Grand Duke of Estenbourg
HRH The Hereditary Grand Duke Wilhelm and HRH Prince Jerome are officially welcomed at Brindleton Palace!
TRH arrived at Brindleton Palace accompanied by HRH Prince George and met the Royal Princesses, HRH Princess Lyla, Princess Elizabeth and Princess Eliana.
The Hereditary Grand Duke of Estenbourg and Prince Jerome spent time with Stafford’s younger generation of the royal family. Since Prince Jerome is not considered a working royal by the Grand Ducal Family and government, his presence at the state visit is considered more social than political.
