All eight episodes of season 2 are extended from the BBC version, and I’ll be working on updating the season 2 transcripts over the next several days.

I won this script in an auction on behalf of Theatres Trust.  (Actually, I didn’t win the script which was being auctioned; I missed out in the final countdown.  I was phoned the next day by a guy from the Trust who said that David, Michael and Simon had been so thrilled at the amount raised that Simon had found another draft and offered it for a second auction.  Instead, the guy thought he would offer it to me for the final amount I had bid.)

I agreed to have this second script at the end of July and finally received it yesterday after it had had to be bounced around from David’s house to Michael’s to Simon’s, and obviously they’re all busy people!  The lovely people at Theatres Trust frequently emailed me to say I hadn’t been forgotten; and it was definitely worth the wait.

It’s basically the shorter version of episode 1, the version shown on the BBC, and doesn’t include the bits which later appeared on Netflix.  Having read it through, I can confirm on Simon’s behalf that – at least in that episode – there wasn’t much that was ad-libbed!  There are a few changes of wording or phrasing only.
