Drimble Wedge and the Vegetation! Peter Cook playing the Devil playing a pop star in Bedazzled (1967) never gets old. His icy intonations and Dudley Moore’s timelessly cool music here still sound awesome 55 years on! Director Stanley Donen’s masterful staging of this mock pop show performance is a treat with or without the context of the rest of the film (but of course if you haven’t seen Bedazzled, ya really should!).
