Something about Rick in the new series trailer is so… soft? Idk if I’m over-analysing but,

his voice is softer? like, the tone is softer? & he didn’t take any digs at anyone or say anything nasty, ya know?

I have a feeling that since the s4 finale, when he realised how shitty he was and almost losing his family, he’s working on being better. being kinder. being softer.
