So… Are Donna Martin and Jim Walsh wearing the same plaid in “A Walsh Family Christmas”? Because that certainly seems to be the case. Obviously there is more to be said for Donna’s outfit, but I’ll save that for another time.

Apparently the people at ASOS also found Brenda’s Pigskin Prom dress as fashion forward as I did.
Now it’s just a matter of finding the right hiking boots and socks to complete the ensemble.

Last night I chaperoned prom, which seemed the perfect occasion to wear my second best online purchase ever. It was also the 13th anniversary of the end of Beverly Hills, 90210. Sadly, not a single person recognized my dress. The best comment came from a student who called it “futuristic.” 1991 was so ahead of its time. Another student told me, with great sympathy, that she heard they just canceled 90210 and she was very sorry.
At least I found pantyhose stuffed in the back of my sock drawer. I think they really made the outfit.
