Last night I chaperoned prom, which seemed the perfect occasion to wear my second best online purchase ever. It was also the 13th anniversary of the end of Beverly Hills, 90210. Sadly, not a single person recognized my dress. The best comment came from a student who called it “futuristic.” 1991 was so ahead of its time. Another student told me, with great sympathy, that she heard they just canceled 90210 and she was very sorry.

At least I found pantyhose stuffed in the back of my sock drawer. I think they really made the outfit.
