FINALLY! IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! WHOOP! Another complete revolution around the sun, another personal new year, another celebration of being the fastest sperm cell, and another year closer to death! Day-5 of my Birthday countdown art challenge! Today’s prompt is “5-Dream Team” where I decided to draw the main 5 Eddsworld characters (owned by Edd Gould. May he draw in heaven with Stan Lee). Namely, Edd, Matt, Tom, Tord, AND Ringo! Of course! (To forget Ringo is a crime in my book!) This piece was kinda off to me. The colors were too strong that they fought each other and the shading had been confusing. Though I tried. I guess I’ll just take this as a lesson for next time. Oh well… To those born on July 5th, I wish all the most of gifts! Happy birthday!

Lucien’s birthday countdown pt. 2
We all have our dream places to visit or a bucket list of things we want to do, plans that sunk into ocean because of the pandemic. This is why one of the reasons I love this game is that it takes us to places we may or may not visit ourselves. And sometimes to places we’ve been and this gives us a sweet aroma of nostalgia ^_^
So my number 9 favorite moment happened in one of those places where Lucien showed me a part of his to give my nose a stinging feeling.

#9 Aurora Borealis
All of our guys have a sad fact about them that makes us wish we could’ve free them of this burden.
In Lucien’s case it is his color blindness, or his monochromic sight to put it correctly.
There are many instances in the story where we witness this and feel sentimental. For me this moment was slightly more powerful than the others by the feelings the sight in “Law of Gravity” MQ:
The auroras are one of the most fascinating sights our beautiful earth has to offer and Lucien cannot see to cherish them. Thinking about this, it is not surprising that he is mesmerized by MC, his iridescent. I mean… How often do we see such a blissful look on his face?
Not only the emotional part of the Date but also the whole MQ is absolutely one of my favorites location-wise. Those glass iglos, the northern lights, the tundra… I am pretty sure that the place they are staying is Kakslauttanen Resort in Finland:
The idea of sleeping with your favorite person under the northern lights and a warm blanket or outside in a jacuzzi amongst bubbly hot water drinking licorice schnapps is just too romantic to bear and here comes the confession part…
The only reason I’m ranking this amazing get-away on number 9 spot is because it’s not with Gavin (´つヮ⊂)
This is the only date/MQ in the whole MLQC universe that I wished was with Gavin. His and MCs connection to Northern Europe, their fascination with the night skies and how they love to soar amongst the stars… I’m going to stop here because this is a Lucien-only list. I just wanted to tell you why it isn’t ranked higher, I hope you don’t mind me ^_^ There will be no other mentioning of Gavin, I promise ✌ (so no Rude Awakening moment in this list ;))
P. S. : We’re just going to ignore that Sigur Rós is an Icelandic band, agreed?
