#bjdfaceup
One of my own dolls, a Doll Chateau Elizabeth in grey skin. I painted extra eyes on her. Her coloring is based on a Maratus Nigromaculatus peacock spider. Very cute and very blue!

This Sugarble Darlene in normal skin has my first faceup in a decora style. The owner was present as I was working on her, and she helped me bully the glitter into the right spots with a thin layer of PVA glue.
Decora isn’t a style I normally do as I do not really follow it. But I do like how this faceup turned out!
Her previous faceup was a bit worn, and kind of plain in comparison to how colorful this character actually is.
Have a video to really appreciate the glitter freckles.
Here we have a very vibrant Faewoods Doll Orchidaceae in mint resin. She was such a fun challenge to work on before of her coloring. I didn’t want to mute it too much, and she just needed blue and purple freckles.
Both I and the owner are happy with how she turned out!

Today we have an Immortality of Soul Jaguar (old sculpt, not the renewal one) with a refreshed faceup. His owner wanted a new faceup for him as the old one was color matched to a different resin color and they’d gotten him an IOS body in white, which of course is pink toned.
I had a lot of fun with his strong brows, piercings, and defined eyes. I also gave him some (non permanent) earrings to complete his look. Sadly in shipping the spiked studs came off. Darn customs!

I mentioned having to redo my Lost Chronicles Allurial as she switched characters on me within a few days of being painted. So here she is again, this time with golden scales, piercings, and ready to kick butt.
She is white skin, but color matched to DF-H normal yellow.
Have a video to show just how gorgeous and shiny the gold paint is unglossed through the MSC.

Another faceup for myself on my Dollzone April, though I am not habbe with my blush or linework here.
I will eventually redo her again, but for now the faceup can stay. Last time I didn’t like her lips and before that I didn’t like her nose blushing. I will get her faceup nailed down one of these days!

I never get tired of painting Flower & Junior Mizi.W, the head is just such a fun canvas! This one has lots of shiny paint splatter spots, white freckles, and a bit on an ombre lip look.
I made the eyes too (paper and acrylic bases), as the owner had sent her with brown eyes but she needed gold ones.

This Fantasy Doll Amber was normal skin once upon a time. She was an impulse buy and after I never did anything with her, I had decided to sell her to a friend. They wanted me to dye her tan, so I did. It was an interesting experience for sure! Afterwards I gave her a faceup and made her some dragon eyes.

This is a very special faceup, in fact it is faceup #500!
As always, after 99 faceups I redo my Resinsoul Ai as the 100th in the same vein as when I painted her as my first faceup. It’s so fascinating to me to be able to chart my growth like this.
I definitely feel like this is her best faceup yet! It only took me 10 years to get to this point, which isn’t a bad time frame at all for 500 completed faceups.

A Dollshe Molly in white skin painted artist choice as an orange tabby cat. I made her some acrylic eyes as well, because why not?

I painted my little Volks YOSD Ayumu as a little freckled redhead. I need to get some decent pics of him with his sister (Volks YOSD Chinatsu), but that’ll happen later.
