Another recently completed commission, this time on a Volks Saki in pure skin normal. She came with a faceup and she was horribly dirty inside. So I cleaned her up inside and out, and repainted her. Quite the glow up!

I painted my little Volks YOSD Ayumu as a little freckled redhead. I need to get some decent pics of him with his sister (Volks YOSD Chinatsu), but that’ll happen later.

On my last trip to Japan, I picked up a vintage Volks doll of Suzumiya Akane from Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien in the Sky Temple family restaurant uniform. I also recently bought the same uniform made by Volks for the Mini Dollfie Dream. Since I’ve bought these both in fairly quick succession, I thought it would be fun to put together the dolls and the vintage cold cast figure of Daikuuji Ayu from my collection together for a quick shoot!
The Mini Dollfie Dream outfit differs from the canon design - which naturally Volks happened to release as a separate outfit - but it’s fun to see them all together! I’ve kept my MDD Akane with her original face up; my excuse is that she is cosplaying as Ayu. In time, I plan to get an SQLabs head so that I can reproduce Ayu more effectively as a MDD and give my existing head a new DDS or DDP body.

I just finished paying off this boy’s body so he will be complete very soon! He is the Huntsman of my story, and is also part wolf! I have some fabric lying around that I got for him, so he will be getting some clothes and stuff made for him too, ^__^ So happy, I have to order his proper wig and eyes though ^_^;;
