I am soooo slow… Worked on this all day.
#Fibro is not happy so I have to do small sessions and rest a lot in between. It’s so annoying… Let’s hope I finish tomorrow. At least I really love it so far :)

Some more tests I did a while and forgot to post. Though I love the look of woodburning, the burner I have hurts my hands way too much. It would be impossible for me to this bigger without putting my hands out of order for a couple of days :/. Carving works great thankfully! I tried without woodburning and I think this may look better with black outlines too. This piece will be made on two wood panels separated in the middle.

I’m almost done with my tests! Just some woodcarving left. I messed up here and there but that was the point. Now, I’m confident do to them bigger! I’m going to finish prepping my wood today and I’ll finally be ready to work on the final pieces tomorrow! Yay!

Fixed the lineart and made a somewhat quick color test. Now onward to the real one! I fixed the lineart digitally ‘cause her face was really annoying me and I had no spoons to start over.

Received my best friend’s birthday gift yesterday! The gorgeous full set of kuretake gansai tambi watercolours. Even though it was super late and I was swamped after work, I had to try them out. I LOVE THEM! They’re so vibrant. Easy to lift and layer. They can be opaque too. I'be been wanting to go back to watercolor painting for a while now and this set is perfect for my need. Can’t wait to play with it more. Best birthday gift <3<br>

Testing out a new paper for copic markers. So far, I love it even though I’m not used to it at all. It’s super smooth, blends extremely well and doesn’t bleed through even with heavy layers. The colors darken a lot though. I’m tired of this drawing though, so I’m not sure I’ll ever finish it. I really should just draw on smaller formats.
