It’s officially Eurovision week and today was the semi-finals round 1 jury show.

I felt it was a foregone conclusion that Italy’s act Mahmood & BLANCO would get to the semi-finals but they sounded rough at the rehearsals (I will blame it on the fact that they are both on tour and are tired) and just a smidge better at the jury show. Also, their staging isn’t great. I hope they make it.

If not, my support moves to Slovenia’s act LPS.

While the countries are readying to face their Eurovision fates, last year’s winners Måneskin are readying a new single: Supermodel, for release on May 13th.

Nostalgia è dedicata a Blanco.

Anche quest’anno l’Italia ha vinto il Best Lyrics Award dell’Eurostory, un magazine online Eurovision related, per Brividi di Mahmood e Blanco.

L’anno scorso per Zitti e Buoni dei Måneskin.
