I’m here because I’m your super fan.
A year ago, I would’ve never guessed my life would be the way it is now.
:’)
So I just figured out, when light stains your eye (when you see the after-image from bright, concentrated light), it will stain on both eyes even if one is covered beforehand.
The photoflare imprints on, say, the left eye, even if the right eye was the one open and exposed to the light. And the same photoflare will appear in the vision of the left eye afterward, even if the right eye is closed and covered thereafter.
This seems to indicate such a phenomenon does not occur on the eye itself, but directly in the visual centers of the brain, given the fact no stimuli occurred with the left eye (closed and covered by my hand), yet the same was affected with the photoflare occurring only directly to the right.
If anyone knows more about this, I am open.
