Can still barely call Kobe a handful! Also I just realized Kobe has a broken eye stripe on this side?? How did I miss that for … 5 years. LOL.. Okay well that explains where Blush got his cheeks from! (Kobe is Blush’s dad.)
Red Tide, my beautiful lady from Cold-Blooded Earth, laid 11 beautiful eggs today! 4-5 have good veins, unsure about the rest… But they all look beautiful so they’re in the incubator anyway! Hopefully they vein up within the next few days. She is such a good mamma, perfectly coiled them all, and they are pristine.

(This is actually Persephone, I was mixing up names yesterday. Everyone was called “snake” “idiot” “ophelia” “persephone” even though it was like, my male ball pythons haha! Enjoy!)
Charlize didn’t use the lay box, instead she laid underneath the paper! My poor tired girl came off the eggs easily and there are 13 good, 1 infertile. She actually rolled out 3 fertile eggs and kept the infertile in her coils… Oh well, first time mom.

Yep these are fertile! Even the one I thought was infertile may just have weak veining and could make it, we’ll see.
And it is the permanent home, but it has everything removed from it because she laid these under the paper and I had to take everything out to see her. Normally there’s paper substrate, a moss box, and a water tub big enough for her to soak in. The dog bowl is temporary because I didn’t want her laying eggs in the water. It happens sometimes, and it kills the eggs… Didn’t risk it, went with a small bowl instead of the large tub for this time. :)
