I have been working a lot on commissions lately + Corona has closed down my country and I’m at my parents house without my computer, so I haven’t been drawing a lot digitally :0 but have been doing a little!
That thing looks like a weapon itself. It’s most likely one of Hatsume’s babies that shoots lasers out of its palm.
So with Miruko getting hit it’s the perfect opportunity to show what this new arm is capable of. It would be extremely pointless to hype her to have this new badass arm only for her to get one shot.
