There winter in the city was freezing this year. It felt like every day it was snowing and there was no sight of spring anywhere. It almost made you depressed. 

But Taishiro always knew how to brighten your spirits, he often invited you over and you had at home dates. A home cooked meal, some candies from his stash, and watching new movies on Netflix. 

  “They should make a movie about you.” You said.

Taishiro laughed, “Who would want to watch that?”

You looked at him, “Me.” 

He wrapped an arm around you and held you close. But even the warmth from your boyfriend’s large body couldn’t keep you warm forever. As the night grew darker, you shivered more and more. 

The slight twitches in your body caught the attention of Taishiro. He pulled you closer against him, but you still shivered. 

  “What’s wrong, dumpling?” He asked.

  “I’m cold.” You said against his belly. Another shiver ripped through you as he rubbed a hand against your back. 

  “Do you want a hoodie?” He asked, “They’ll be like a blanket.” 

You perked up at the idea of that and lifted your head up from his belly. You looked up at him with a gleam in your eye at the prospect of one of his hoodies. 

 “I guess you want one.” He chuckled. 

“Sharing is caring, so hand over the hoodie.” You said as you held out your hand. You both laughed at your comment. Your boyfriend leaned in and gave you a kiss on the top of your head. 

He said, “Of course, my little dumpling. Let me get you a fresh one, this one is all dirty from the day.” He got off the couch and went over to his bedroom. 

You waited on the couch, curling into yourself to keep warm as you heard him shuffle around the room. When he exited he had a large hoodie that almost looked like the size of a blanket. 

He grinned at you as he sat back beside you, “Open those arms I want to put this on you.” 

You did as you were told and he slipped the yellow hoodie on to your shoulders, it was so big and long it was like a dress on you. He zipped it up all the way, covering you completely in the warmth of it. 

  “There, see better than the one I’m wearing.” He chuckled.

You pulled your knees to your chest and leaned against him and he put a big arm over you closely and kissed the top of your head. 

  “Warm now, baby?” He asked.

You smiled and nodded, then he pulled the hood over your head and kissed you through it. You couldn’t help but smile further and snuggle up to your boyfriend while you kept watching television.

Cake Catastrophe

Somebody asked for a Fatgum birthday request in which his s/o tries to bake a cake and kinda sucks at it. I lost the original ask (and I kinda forgot who sent it so sorry). But anyway, here you go in anticipation of Fatgum’s birthday!

August 8th was the birthday of your precious Taishiro Toyomitsu, AKA the BMI Hero Fatgum. Now while he was very sociable, he was never really the party person. So you decided to make him a cake. Now….sure you had failed Home Ec…you could make Easy Mac and cereal. That was it. They always say baking is more art than science….to you it was more like astrophysics. But you were always so inspired watching him help Amajiki and Kirishima to be their best selves. So you felt if you just had confidence, then you could accomplish anything!

Or so you thought……………good news was this was your best cake yet. Bad news was it was still lopsided and you did a less than a satisfactory job of frosting the cake. It was a chocolate cake with some chocolate frosting. You had tried to decorate the top like a takoyaki ball, but it looked very sloppy.  You stood there staring down at your floppy atrocity, drumming your fingers on the countertop. 

“Sigh………..damn it…”, you muttered. You couldn’t possibly give this to Tai-he was freakin’ Fatgum! He was used to eating really great food and was always invited to all the latest restraurant openings; from the local grill down the street to the new bistro at the Ritz Carlton. You then pulled out your phone to call Tai’s favorite bakery.

“Hi!”, a cheerful voice responded, “This is Plentiful Pastries! How can I help you?” 

“Hi, yes-I was just wondering how long you guys are open today, and how long would it take to bake a birthday cake for my boyfriend?’“

“Well that depends, what kind of cake did you have in mind? Does he have a favorite flavor that you’d like us to make?”

Huh…….funny thing-you actually didn’t know his favorite flavor of cake was. You’d witnessed the man tear through sheet cakes and tiered cakes of all sorts of shapes and flavors alike, but it had never occurred to you what his FAVORITE flavor was. 

“H-his favorite flavor?”, you stammered into the phone.  “I-I’m not quite sure-”

“-Don’t got a favorite.”

“GAH!” You  jumped at the sudden voice and the sensation of giant hands on your hips. You accidentally sent your phone flying into the nearby fruit bowl in your shock, hanging up on the poor baker.

“Jeez Tai! Don’t scare me like that!” You protested as you were lifted in your boyfriend’s arms and brought to his grinning face. He planted several warm pecks on your cheeks as he chuckled. 

“You were ordering me a cake for my birthday?” he playfully asked. 

“Y-yeah…….”, you responded sheepishly.

“But why? Looks like ya made a perfectly nice one over there”, he notes, nodding his head over to your sugar loaded disaster.

“O-oh, that thing…….yeah, I tried to make you a cake. But I failed…..”

“No, you didn’t-it looks amazing!” he tried. He set you down, grabbed a fork from the silverware drawer, and went over and took a generous bite of the lumpy concoction. His face froze mid chew, his eyes wide. 

“Uh…….at least ya tried, doll……I mean-it’s good! But I uh-”, he tried, forcing a smile on his face, doing his best not to hurt your feelings. You gave him a warm smile, admiring his efforts to spare your ego the shame.

“It’s ok Sugar Boo… I know it’s awful”. 

“Oh thank All Might-” He spat the cake into the trash. 

“I’m sorry Tai……I just wanted to make you something special for your birthday…”, you apologized, lowering your head. 

He walked over to you and lifted your head to look him in his eyes.

“It’s the thought that counts, Sweet Pea….and I can tell you put your best effort into it.”

This caused you to give him a soft smile, blushing at his reassuring eyes.

“Tell ya what, why don’t we go to my favorite buffet and get ice cream after??”

“Deal”

So…….this upcoming Saturday is Fatgum’s birthday…..and I wanna write something………any ideas or prompts??? I prolly won’t do NSFW or anything like that, but I’ll write for fluff or headcanons, centered around Fatgum and his birthday. Feel free to send in suggestions!
