#body image issues
Studies show that over 80% of teenage women and 20% of teenage men are struggling with body image issues. The question is, how do we combat these numbers and show young adults the secrets to a healthier lifestyle–in ways that they’ll actually listen to?
Enter Pixelberry’s new mobile app, High School Story, created in partnership with the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA). Previous versions of the game tackled problems liked bullying, but the app’s new edition gives teenagers a step-by-step guide to learning about body image issues, where these anxieties stem from, and how to overcome them through an interactive avatar named Mia.
Pixelberry hopes that the game will strike a chord with teenagers worldwide. We hope so too.

WHAT IS INTERSEX?
Intersex people are individuals with any of several variations in chronosomes, gonads, sex hormones or genitals that do not fit the typical definitions of the male or female sex. Intersex is the scientific proof that even biological sex is on a spectrum and not a binary system.
