#boom studios
I’ve read more “Bee and Puppycat” comics and they are mostly about food. Or connected with food. Even though it’s very nice and interesting because there are so many drawing styles – realistic and not, similar to the cartoon and not, many different stories – just funny and, yeh, about food, or with some dipper sense (doesn’t mean, it’s not connected with food, either).
Glory to the Boom! advertisements! Thanks to it I’ve read “LadyCastle”. And it was wonderful! It’s a story about ManCastle all its men (except one) were eaten by a dragon, because of the king’s arrogance. And so, women learn how to live on themselves. It is very interesting because they are dealing with the loss (all the men are dead, remember?), breaking stupid rules and traditions and defending the castle (in their own way). And the characters are great and different.
I’ve finally got back to “Bee and Puppycat” comics because I’ve read the first issue and like – well, let’s read something else and then this again… what do you mean two months passed? So… There is a very cool thing in the second issue – there are music boxes and music. And there are QR-code for scanning and you can watch a video with music on YouTube (QR-codes for you in the pictures)! Super Technologies!
Hail to the Boom! advertisements! I’ve read “Slam!” comics. They are really cool: there are only four issues but their author told us: about the whole new sport (Roller derby, at first I thought, that authors made it up…) and about like… four different (but connected) relationships development. Very nice. And, it’s one more time comics mostly about girls (like “Heavy Vinyl”) and they are all different and have different body types. Great! “There is no sorry in Roller derby!” (one of my favourite quotes from now)
You know, I think that advertisements at the end of Boom! Studious comics are awesome but very strange targeted, because the comics I’m going to tell you about today I’ve found in one “Bee and Puppycat” issue. “Bee and Puppycat”. Cuteness and food. Keep this in mind. So, I decided to read “Judas” comics. It’s about Judas Iscariot his life and his afterlife in hell. (SPOILERS!) He talks to Satan, he nearly believes that Jesus is a “bad guy” who always knew how everything would happen and perceive everybody as consumables. But then Jesus appears himself. Nothing strange, he has taken all the sins of humankind on him, so got to hell. He is scared and confused. And Judas is angry on him so he gives him to all the sinners and they torture him. But then Judas goes after him. So, Judas finally reaches Jesus, helps him to get out of the pit and finally forgives him. Jesus goes to heaven and Judas becomes some kind of Jesus for the hell himself. ABSOLUTELY GREAT.
Continuing reading Steven universe ongoing comics (volumes 16-17). And it’s just a reminder that they are nice, sweet and cool drawn.
