Black Lives Matter.
In the wake of everything happening this past week, it hasn’t felt right to get on here and post photos of Claire like everything is fine when everything is not fine. There needs to be justice for George Floyd. There needs to be justice for Breonna Taylor. We need to rebuild our societal structures from the ground up to root out the systemic racism that permeates them. We need to direct funding to education and mental health rather than arming police. When BIPOC speak about the harsh realities they face, we need to listen to them and support them and work towards equality. We need to commit to be better. We need to commit to change.
In keeping with this blog’s theme, if y’all are interested in supporting the organizations that members of the Test Kitchen are donating to, here’s a list:

hey wourder fam. a follow up to my last post
I feel like I have been very vocal from the start about how I’m not supporting BA - I’ve unsubscribed and cancelled my subscriptions a long time ago. I truly was just trying to say I’m sad that a friendship I thought was a good one maybe isn’t?? re-Sohla & Brad. Some truly horrible comments on that last post that weren’t needed. I fully support Sohla’s right to a safe and fair workplace, and she can say whatever she likes. Saying her comments are the only thing I took away from the article when there are so many posts here supporting her and her work are unfair.
This is still a Brad stan account, while I may be disappointed in his lack of activism I still love the guy. I’m going to try and figure out how to keep his BA life separate - and that may not always be possible but I’m trying to figure it out.
