Hey All, I just wanted to post some explorations I did for Sunshine from OK KO that I did. It was one of the last things I got to do before leaving the show but @stevieborbolla approached me early on asking me to throw some ideas out for her. I was only told that she was supposed to be weather based as well as be able to quickly shift from being peppy to scary depending on how happy she was with her students!  

  I’m really glad I got to be a part of the initial design process for her and I loved what the boarders were able to do with her. Please check out @juliasrednicki‘s work as she did the model sheet! Also amazing work from all the boarders especially @haewon-leeand@dannyducker who thought of some really cool solutions for her design!

Some designs I did for Legends of Mr. Gar & Know Your Mom! All our eps are airing so fast! Both of these were really fun - for teen-Enid Ian specifically asked me to reference a Rebecca drawing from the development stage of the show, & I think lad boxman is one of the weirdest characters I’ve drawn so far. Working with @scrotumnose on him was super enjoyable. :) Art direction is by John Pham and colors are by @kalidraws!

i don’t think i’ve ever explicitly said this on tumblr, but JULIAandBRANDON are really amazing and always do such a great job turning our weird chicken scratch into BEAUTIFUL designs!!! i am so thankful for them every single day of my life y’all have no idea

another fun fact: i modeled lad boxman after the figure i hate the most with all of my heart: the berries and cream lad

Work I did for Back in Red Action! @miraongchua designed the amazing hue troop and @parkersimmonsyall designed the vehicles. I did the model sheets for  Yellow Technique and Green Guts and @juliasrednicki did the rest.  It was an intense episode because the vehicles would be done in cg so we needed to change the way we did the model sheets to fit a cg pipeline. The lineup and colors were done by our colorist @kalidraws! Also the one Red Action selfie was done by Julia as well! This was a tricky but fun episode to work on so I hoped you all enjoyed it!

A bit late but I’m finally posting my stuff for Parents Day. It’s one of my favorite episodes and the work that @stevieborbollaand@dannyducker did was amazing. Credit goes to Stevie for doing the original concept/design for Bernard, Enid’s dad! I’m a big movie monster fan so this episode was a joy to work on I’m glad that it’s finally out in the world!!

Model sheets I did for the “Glory Days” episode.  @ryannshannonand@parkersimmonsyall  did a great job with the origin stories for these heroes!  @juliasrednicki who did the designs of the other heroes posted the outdoor lineup of the heroes so I wanted to post the indoor lineup for them which was made by our colorist @kalidraws !  The bg layout was drawn by Diego Molano and the painting was done by @emilywalus. Just wanted to post some of the design work I did for one of my favorite episodes! Amazing work from @scrotumnoseand@haewon-lee on boards and designs i feel like I’ve watched this episode 10 times by now and I’m still excited by it! Dave did some great takes on our characters in the Captain Planet style and I touched the drawings up with help from our art director John Pham who did a pass on them, he’s super knowledgeable about that era of cartoon realism!  The crew put a lot of effort and heart into this crossover and I hope you can enjoy it too! Also @cartoonfuntime for their amazing work designing the trio as animals as well as Mikayla. The Mikayla model sheet is almost a straight cleanup of her work!

 “You Have to Care” just aired last night and I can finally share one of my favorite episodes from OK KO! I felt a special connection to this episode because Elodie was one of the characters I had gotten before I was hired as a freelance character assignment. Elodie’s character was a lot simpler back then so it was really cool to be able to work with @stevieborbollaand@dannyducker and Ian to do a revamp of Elodie’s design. Originally she didn’t have an involvement with Enid so this new development called for a revisit of her character!  I didn’t quite have a handle on how complex our props could be so I was really excited to also design a new bow for her!  I can say that I was clearly inspired by  Madoka Magica and general Mahou Shojo anime!

It’s the Squad!

I wanted to do a pic of @killapede ’s awesome lizard gang from the “My Dad Can Beat Up Your Dad” episode. They’re such fun designs!

Hey all! We’re Captured just aired last night and I wanted to post the model sheets that I did for Fink and Venomous. @ryannshannonand@parkersimmonsyall boards were great and I was honored that I got to do the turns for these two, I love them!

@dannyduckerand@stevieborbolla ‘s episode “We’ve got Pests” just aired last night! I got to do the design for a few of the characters and also the crowd of party goers. Art direction by John Pham and colors by @kalidraws

I was super excited that I got to do the model sheet for Raymond in “Sibling Rivalry” I definitely tried to capture the spirit of Dave and Haewon’s excellent drawings of him! 

I was also eager to get my Sakuga on with the dramatic water effects that Raymond falls into!

Hey all, I’ve been on hiatus so I couldn’t post a bunch of art from the OK KO episode I’ve worked on but I’m back now and I can post some of it! Here’s some select art I did for the episode “I am Dendy” working off of the great boards by Mira and Geneva. 

 I had a lot of fun doing the designs for the arcade and air hockey machine, it’s always nice to be able to add personality to props to help build the world and story!

Hey all, Sorry for being so quiet but I can finally post some stuff from O K K.O.! Let’s be Heroes that I’ve been working on this past year. The first six episodes are out and I had the great opportunity to do the designs for the fist in “You’re level 100″.  Black and white line work is by me, Colors are by Jessica Yost
