ThisBuddleja crispa (Himalayan butterfly bush) has be trained as a wall shrub and before the felty, grey-green leaves emerge the peeling bark trunk makes a great sculptural feature. In summer the new shoots will bear racemes of small, pale lavender flowers, with a white eye.
