I talk about Peanut a lot but he’s only one of the squirrels I see daily. Meet the other most frequent visitor I see and most demanding: Butters.
She and I have an at times contentious relationship. She can try to climb all over my screen doors, mark them, or drive away other squirrels to get all the nuts to herself. She will pop out of random bushes to ask for more nuts while I’m out in the garden and follow me around.
She is frankly, a greedy pig but she is slowly learning to ask nicely and I still love her.
