Concepts made during the preproduction of my graduation film J’attends la nuit (I wait for the night). The main focus here was the light. Finding how it could indicate some surrounding elements (trees, sport field) without actually seeing them in the frame. What’s hidden and what’s visible are two notions that play a huge part in the film.
I’m so excited to share the intro for the Character Animation Producers’ Show!
Apparently Walt Disney has been kept frozen for 50 years at the president’s office, and this year we brought him back to life so he could see what CalArts has become.
Thanks to all of the incredible people who worked on this! Full credit list on the Vimeo description. ❤
I’m excited to present: MY GRADUATION FILM “Mr. Carefree Butterfly”
I want to thank the incredible talents that I had the privilege to collaborate with, and everyone who supported me during this 4 year long journey at CalArts.
Recently, we’ve been spending most of the hours of the day together, and it seems like it’s not going to change. We create, we do research, watch videos on Youtube.. I sometimes find myself just staring at you. You’re bright, sharp and colorful. You’re sensitive, pen pressure sensitive. We don’t need Valentine’s Day, tonight is just another great night in front of each other. Feeling closer than ever.
