4500-year-old Limestone Head of Canaanite Goddess Anat Found in Gaza

A farmer in the Gaza Strip recently found the 4,500-year-old limestone head of Canaanite goddess Anat in his field. She was worshipped in love and war across most of the Levant in the Bronze Age and influenced the powers of Mesopotamian Astarte and Greek Athena.
