#cancun adventure
Today was Chichen Itza and it was A W E S O M E
Chichen Itza is a two-hour drive from Cancun, in the province of Yucatan. It’s a Unesco World Wonder, the ruins of a Mayan settlement. The group paid for the deluxe tour which included a private charter bus, tour guide, and all the water/pop/beer we wanted. We did a tour of the ruins, visited a Mayan town for a traditionally cooked Mayan lunch, drove through am old Colonial town to see the Spanish architecture, and visited a cenote - which is a giant underground pool. It was definitely worth the money we paid.
I have so many pictures of the ruins… both on my phone and on my camera… So I’ll just post a few of those.
