You can’t leave #Cancún without visiting the Coral Reef National Park in #Cozumel‼️ It measures 22km in length and is part of the so called “Mesoamerican Barrier Reef system”, considered the second largest in the world. I actively spent the week trying to be very in the moment because I honestly had a lot of anxiety about the trip before heading out, but then realized how amazingly blessed I am to get to share a week with a member of my chosen family in a country that is home for her ••• as a bit of a history nerd seeing Chichen Itza, one of the seven wonders of the world with my own eyes was deeply moving ‼️✨ Other highlights were stepping out of my comfort zone to swim in a cenote that was 100+ feet deep, getting to admire old Mexican architecture and burning my mouth repeatedly because I couldn’t wait for the caramel to cool on my churros | shout out @paodiaz17 @05sperez for being amazing travel buds #chichenitza #mexico #cancun #yucatan #travelgram #khanyoufeelthelove #visitmexico
