who is the fundie your closest to being an actual ‘fan’ of? like if they denounced fundamentalism tomorrow you’d be into it? mine is the seewalds (the ben and jessa ones not the others)
I’ve always liked Joy and Austin tbh.. I’m most rooting for Josiah and Lauren to get out though. They just seem like they’d be that dorky/a little over the top theatre couple if they got out of the clutches of fundamentalism and I want that for them haha. Joy and Austin, I like how they’re always bonding over loving the outdoors but since that seems to actually be their thing, even if they’d get out they’d still be Arkansas country people and surrounded by all that Trumpism and gun and ‘merica culture that comes with it, so I just can’t see them ever actually getting out or leaving that behind. And for the Bates probably Alyssa or Carlin. Idk why, I’ve had a soft spot for Carlin ever since everyone keeps pointing out how “loud” and “obnoxious” she is and I think I was just like… yess go girl be loud haha. And I like her dynamic with Evan, they genuinely seem like best friends who really enjoy each other’s company. And maybe Tori? She’s so pretty and Bobby is such a good singer.
So.. now that Fern’s here, if we don’t get an announcement from any Duggar or Bates until fall when Anna has baby M7, it’ll be the first time in a while where there’s no publicly announced Bates or Duggar pregnancy! Wild.
And really it would haveto be Carlin for the Bates, because there’s really no one else who’s married, didn’t *just* have a baby and doesn’t have fertility issues or health concerns. For the Duggars, there’s Lauren, Claire, Katey or Abbie, or even Joy or Kendra (I know I have her down as just having had a baby, but it’s Kendra, so..) or wild card Jill … so a little more plausible.
I’m thinking it’s going to be Carlin. Or possibly Lauren, Katey or Claire are already pregnant and just have chosen not to make a big public announcement.
It’s funny that seeing Joy holding a game controller made me go “this is so weird!”
Almost all of the times I’m holding a controller these days, I’m just using it to turn on Netflix.
But I’m really enjoying imagining Joy playing Assassin’s Creed so let’s go with that instead.
Even trying to get to Netflix she’s probably struggling which explains the body language. Man I really miss this joy. I feel like she’s becoming more “chin-up” lately
I think in the story her and Evan were playing some soccer game and Joy said something about trying to figure out how it works or how soccer works or something.. It‘s super weird to see her with a controller but at the same time, I feel like Joy would be into it!

I also completely missed that somehow.. do we know for sure they pre-courted or were ‚getting to know each other‘? I have a really really hard time seeing Joe and Carlin together I wonder if Joy was trying to set up her big brother with her BFF or something.. also Evan and Carlin are so similar, as are JoKen.. Joe and Carlin would be total opposites!
