A/N: I know most of these are happy but I’m not in a happy mood so… yeah here we are angst with a dash of happy

- You were with Cedric for a few years
- But once your brother started attending school with you it had to come to a stop
- You made a big scene of it
- Both of you knowing it wasn’t real to either of you
- You kept the relationship on the downlow
- Your brother hadn’t been the smartest when he was in his early years at Hogwarts
- So it was a shock to you when he started to catch on during his fourth year
- You knew if word got back to your father about your relationship he’d have your head
- You became more distant
- Ignoring him every chance you got
- No longer giving him the sweet kisses you both loved to share
- It hadn’t been until you were hanging out in the quad with your friends that Cedric had brought it to your attention
- “Why aren’t you hanging out with me anymore? Did I do something?” He’d asked making you gape up at him
- “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” You shook your head, looking around at the crowd that was forming
- “Why can’t you love me back?” Cedric demanded catching you by surprise
- This made you look around at all of his friends who were stood not too far behind him
- You wanted nothing more than to say you did love him back
- But meeting your brother’s gaze across the quad stopped you
- With a deep shaky breath you’d mustered the courage to look back to him
- “You don’t deserve my love. I never loved you, and I never will.” You lied through your teeth, biting the inside of your cheek to stop yourself from crying
- He knew you were lying
- He knew you better than anyone
- Yet he let you walk away that day
- Not knowing how he could ever get you back
- And not knowing that he never would
