Wallace is the team muscle! While she’s very shy and reserved in her daily life, as The Invincible Girl she’s found a degree of freedom that lets her become a boisterously outgoing kind of person. She’s a good problem solver and is by far the most concerned with collateral damage. More under the cut!
Wallace’s super strength has been a major source of anxiety for her for basically her entire life. Her strength and invulnerability are both tied to the amount of ambient energy she has absorbed from day-to-day living: from footsteps, or passing cars, or bumping into people, or catching things. This means that she has such a massive reserve of strength that she often has trouble regulating her output, so she’s really really nervous about touching other people and delicate things.
Once she steps into her role as Invincible Girl, though, she finds an incredible outlet for all of her pent-up energy. Throwing cars and punches at mirror monsters helps her get a better feel for her power. The more at home with herself she becomes, the more sociable she gets and the braver she becomes in other aspects of her life.
Her family is really supportive of the whole superhero thing as sort of a direct result of how much it seems to be good for her. She lives with her parents and brothers in their apartment over the family bakery (so she always smells a little like fresh bread) and goes to the local college. She hasn’t declared a degree yet, but she’s considering something in physics or sports medicine.
