Just finished this ref for my recent oc I’m pairing with zydrateaddicted on IG’s oc Hyon

He is half Korean (mother) and white (Father) and grew up in America. He now resides in South Korea for either school/independence from his fam

Introducing my Fallen character, Taros. Bio and other information under the cut because damn I wrote a lot about this guy.

History

Taros had always been ambitious. Since he was old enough to fight he managed to claw his way to the top of every social ladder he found himself in, and the hierarchical structure of Fallen houses were no different. Through cunning, resourcefulness, keen senses, and often just sheer force he rose to the position of Baron far earlier than most. Started as a slandering insult by those bested by him, his subordinates began calling him ‘The Ruthless King’ as a term of respect. This name was a bit tongue-in-cheek, as the Baron was nothing short of a warlord. Rewarding those who served him well with the demise of those who performed poorly, he carved a path of casualties anywhere he went. It did not take long for the House to be completely transformed into the ideal Machiavellian society within his bloody grip. With his sights set on Kellship or perhaps even Archon Priest, he was certain that the House of Kings was destined to do great things under his hand. Before the House of Kings slunk to the depths of the Cosmodrome where they currently reside, they were the tip of the spear of Fallen expansion in the system, and Taros knew he was helping that happen.

But as history will often show, things rarely go according to plan. In an aspiring but shortsighted move to press Fallen control into territories on Mars, an aggressive scouting squadron was caught in the crossfire between a Vex ambush of a Cabal Patrol. All three parties suffered heavy losses but the Kings patrol suffered the most injures. Taros was caught in an explosion of a Vex unit which charred most of his upper body and embedded hot shrapnel deep into his skin. Although a rescue unit picked them up shortly after, the King Baron barely clung to life as they raced back to safety.

The road to recovery for the Baron was long and arduous. The greater portion of the left side of his body was mangled with scars, and much of the shrapnel had embedded itself into his muscles. He had also suffered from some sever concessional head injuries. By the time he had recovered, the leaders of House Kings had set their sights on Old Earth and begun efforts there. Despite having made a physical recovery, Taros’s mental state had taken a strange turn. He became more vicious than usual, and could often be heard muttering to himself. These later turned to loud rants when he was alone, and writing strange symbols all over the walls of his usually immaculate room. His tactical choices were nonsensical; he would send patrols into completely unknown territory searching for materials they had in abundance, or things no other Fallen had heard of.

Unbeknownst to both those in charge of his medical health and the Baron himself, shards of a Vex mind core that had been expelled in the explosion had embedded into his skull and wormed into his brain. The living metal had then taken root, filling spaces in his brain and merging with his identity. The strands of broken logic that inhabited his thoughts gave him shattered insight into the infinite depth of knowledge that the Vex had at their disposal. He believed his mind had been opened to the heart of the universe and the songs of the cosmos had wound their way into his ears. He believed he could feel the presence of godlike beings that filled the spaces between the stars and wove their way through time. Unfortunately, he was really only experiencing the stimulation billions of incomplete fragments that were interacting with the electrical impulses of his brain, feeding him with stimulation and many bits of data that was shared by all Vex. In short, it drove him mad. Once again his subordinates placed a new title on him; Taros the Sane. It didn’t take long for the mad Baron to make some senseless choices that very gravely wounded the House Kings, both in size and resources. Instead of executing him there for his failures, the Kings’ Kell stripped him of rank, docked his secondary arms, and exiled him to a desolate part of Earth to die.

That was 30 years ago, and the House has since receded to the shadows of the post-apocalyptic planet. Taros has roamed the wilderness since then, now an extremely proficient scavenger and nomad. Years of solitude in the wild somewhat quelled the rage and the bitterness from his old life. With his ‘implants’ fully integrated into his brain and nothing to turn back to, he roams from place to place, not only looking for new resources, but some answers, as well as piece of mind. 

Personality

Disposition:

- Innately distrustful of strangers, Fallen or otherwise. Upon encountering a potential danger he will try to remain hidden to learn more about it, but will attack viciously if it is deemed a threat.
- Years of questioning his very identity (thanks to incomplete logic strands of the Vex mind core conflicting with and stimulating his brain) have made him unpredictable and prone to mood swings. Even before his corruption, Taros was known for his short temper and explosiveness. Now with the added factor of the alien technology, he often lash out in irritability and frustration to those that don’t understand his condition.
- Inquisitive and curious, he loves to explore and observe. Years of exile have given him an admiration of the wildlands he lives in and an appreciation for tiny details that often go unnoticed.
- Has a soulful, gentle side. In his years of loss and exploration he developed a self-awareness and understanding. He keeps this part of his personality very close; it currently remains buried under the layers of bitterness and Vex noise.

Hobbies- 
- Collects trinkets and bits of scrap from the wastelands and will either add them to his armor or assemble them within his den. Prefers sculptures of odd geometric shapes and those with many conflicting textures.
- Ritually hunts Fallen from other houses, especially when he is out on scavenges or patrols. Because he hunts from afar and is fairly stealthy, he has made a reputation for being a sort of “Boogyman” that will pick off the unwary Eliksni in the ‘Drome.
- Has an inexplicable desire to garden (due to misunderstood fragments of Vex logic within his brain). Keeps a small collection of plants in his den that have been potted in things scavenged from the wastes.

Likes:
- Sitting in a high place like a rocky crevice and watching the scenery, especially transitions like sunsets or storms.
- Learning about the various alien factions on a tactical level, usually through observation and collection of relics. Although he dislikes their struggles, he finds their culture important to understand. It also makes it easier for him to avoid aliens if he understands their habits.
- Traveling great distances on foot or vehicle
- Peace and quiet, and warm, arid environments
- Collecting tech from dead Guardians and tinkering with them.

Dislikes:
- The struggles of most other alien factions. He views their internal struggles and faction wars as small and useless.
- He holds a special distaste for the Hive, viewing them as little more than mindless worms, filth of the depths.
- Hotblooded new Guardians that are just getting to know their power. They are usually ignorant and triggerhappy, and he will often hunt the persistent ones for sport.

Quirks:
- Often talks and growls to himself. When he gets excited or overwhelmed he sometimes refers to himself as “we” or “our”.
- Will often use all 6 limbs when sprinting short distances towards an enemy. Not only is it quicker but he finds that it disorients and unnerves the attacker.
- Wrings his hands and paces when agitated, nervous, or lost in thought.
- Sometimes digresses into personal, unfocused rants when talking to a person. Will often begin talking to himself during moments like these and forget the other person is there.

Age: 13 year old boy

Alter Ego: Cure Oopsy
Team: None, runs a Cure Care Bear Blog, but unofficial forth member of the Sunniville’s Care Bear Cures
Magical Statues: Doesn’t have any magic, but has helped the caring meter a lot for a normal human.

Info:Living in Sunniville the Cure Care Bears there are rather friendly and can be often found not even fighting monsters just helping like picking up litter and helping upset kids. They have let Oopsy work with them when it’s not dangerous. He knows everything Care Bear Cures. He had been a fan before all the new Care Bear Cures started popping up around the world when there was only Cure Noble and Cure True though they have gone missing before he was even born. He was heavily bullied in first grade for being clumsy. But, his father would tell him stories about Cure Noble and Cure True. Oopsy decided to take what they were teasing him for and become his own cure. He was a (not magical) cure far before the new ones started showing up. At this point no one but his dad remembers his real name.

Info:Kokoro Nakama is a little fairy from Care A Lot with a bunch of her siblings and cousins to find humans who could become cures to protect help them. She tries her best to help any way she can!

Info: Shizuka is a very soft spoken teenager who was diagnosed with social anxiety at a young age. She just came out to her family as transgender. They were very accepting of her, but the first person she ever told was Tomomi her best friend who also helped picked her new name. They had been best friends since they were little kids. Even though Tomomi is very outgoing and popular and Shizuka is very shy and reserved. Often struggles and fights for her title of leader. Since Cure Cheer believes she should be leader

Info: Tomomi is the most popular girl in school. She’s a senior in high school and part of the cheerleading team. She has a big heart and tries to make time for all her friends. Even if someone is shy or mean she will do her best to befriend them. Tomomi is often found dragging Shizuka everywhere. Despite how shy the poor girl is. Tomomi isn’t afraid to call Shizuka her best friend and put her needs over her other friends (since after all she is Shizuka’s only friend) Kioko and her have been friends since the younger girl joined the cheer squad to the point where Tomomi stepped down as Cheer Captain because she knew Kioko deserved to be the captain even though she was younger.

Info:Current cheer captain of the school she is close friends with Tomomi often conflicting with Shizuka. Kioko tries her best to live up to her name and bring happiness to everyone around her. While she shares more in common with Tomomi it always bothered her a little that Shizuka was her best friend. When she becomes a precure she believes SHE should be leader being pink and social, but Secret is better at plan making.

Personality:

Charlotte is a immature spoiled brat. Back in California she was a much happier sweeter girl, that would often give her friends gifts. She didn’t even care that she knew a lot of her friends had been using her for her money. She was fine with them making her pay for things or asking for presents  Because they were her friends. Charlotte didn’t care that she overheard them talking badly about her when they thought she wasn’t around. Because they were her friends. When they teased and mocked her to her face, they were just joking it was all in good fun. After she moved to Japan this changed, she became closed off and hateful. She realized how her friends had been using her and she felt like she couldn’t make any friends in her new school. Charlotte’s mindset has turned into “I’m a princess so everyone better listen to me.” In reality she’s just a sad lonely girl who rather hurt others than be hurt. She’s the self proclaimed leader of the Curses.


Bio:

Charlotte is a rich girl that grew up in California. Only recently did she moved to Japan. After learning how her friends were using their daughter for their money and bullying her, her parents decided moving would be the best. Japan was decided since they had always wanted to live there. Charlotte believed that meant she would be the popular new foreigner that everyone would want to learn about and her parents would be home more often. But, in the end that wasn’t what happen at all. She went from being the most popular girl in elementary to finding herself rather lost in her new school. Suddenly she didn’t know anyone, she could barely understand anyone. Her class didn’t care that she had all the newest coolest toys or clothes. They didn’t watch the same cartoons as she did or read the same comics. Charlotte grew angrier and angrier at her parents for making her move here. In her anger she realized that back home wasn’t much better. Sure she had friends but being teased and used for her money always hurt. It was harder to pretend it didn’t now that she was gone. Now her parents were the only ones she could talk to and they were always busy. Just like in Califorina, the only thing that had changed was she had no friends.

Of course her parents felt bad and bought her more gifts, soon she had toys that her classmates liked as well. But, Charlotte didn’t care. She didn’t need friends! But, that all changed when she found a odd stuffed animal on the ground, it wasn’t like anything she had seen before. The moment she went to pick it up however, it opened it’s eyes. Introducing himself as Dolos he explained how he had traveled from a fair away land. Charlotte was amazed she understood him perfectly! The first person, thing that she could understand in Japan. He told her how he could see she was special, sick and tired of living in such a boring place. He offered her a simple deal, he would give her powers to help him make the world more interesting. Charlotte took the chance without a second thought.

Attacks:

• Toy Box Change - Her main attack this changes any non living item into a toy (for example a car would be turned into a giant ride on car)
• Wake Up (Toy’s name) - This attack takes a lot more energy out of her, but when the magic hits a toy it turns into a monster. (for example Wake up Ball, when it hits the ball it turns into a monster)

Relationships:

• Daniel Hunter and Ellie Hunter - Her parents love her very dearly, but are often busy. They buy her anything her heart could want. But, their relationship is still very strained. Her mother is an actress and her father a owner of a popular toy company. Which means they travel a lot.
• Dolos - He is HER fairy, and the closest thing to a friend she has. She calls him Dolly because it’s cuter. He lives with her since she’s rich. Both them have a mutual I don’t care about you, but I do relationship. She takes Dolos everywhere with her often carrying him and claiming he’s a stuffed animal.

Personality:

Dolos is a trickster. The thing he loves most in life is having fun. He hates order because it’s so boring. He doesn’t care about anyone, but himself.  He doesn’t care who he uses or hurts. He’s selfish liar who will do anything to benefit him. At times lazy, especially if they are things that don’t interest him. Dolos wants nothing more than to see the world turn upside down. He’s a bad influence to anyone who would listen to him. He’s a fun loving unreliable fairy. Dolos is rude snarky manipulator. He’s a total brat  

Bio:

About 500 years ago Dolos got out of the Karma Realm and caused a total mess of things. His older sister Themis created a group of warriors calling themselves Cures that helped defeat him. He was locked away back home in order not to cause anymore damage. However when things lean towards his favor the chains that bound him would get weaker. Until one day, he was able to break free enough to return to the human world. It took all his energy and power to escape.

The next thing he knew he was waking up to a girl holding him. But, not any girl. Dolos could see the desire in her soul, the dark energy that fueled him the last time around. He was given the idea to turn this girl into his own warrior. He took the energy and turned it into her transformation item. While he could have just fed on the energy to grow stronger. He took his sister’s example, with a team he could make far more of this energy to feed on

Attacks:

• Chaotic Energy Release  - He is able to manipulate dark energy in a person’s soul turning them into a Disster OR Curse Magical Girl
• Chaotic Energy Eater - Not a attack per say eating the same energy he can use to transform humans he can also make himself stronger
• Chaotic Disguise - He is able to turn into a human once he has gotten enough dark energy for himself
• Chaotic Change - This power is only able to be used in Curse Chaos form, he can do massive changes to the world once he unlocks his Curse form

Relationships

• Themis - He hates her with a burning passion. For locking him up, for never letting him have any fun. She’s Order he’s Chaos. He’s the most boring person in existence. Dolos has also been very hurt by her because he feels like she would rather him not exist
• Charlotte - First victim, very useful “pet / servant ” He likes how she’s rich and carries him around. He definitely doesn’t care for her at all and wouldn’t care if she got hurt or anything like that.

Fact

• Can only access his Human form once he’s broke the legs and neck beads (by getting enough energy
  
• Can only access his Curse form once all beads are broken
  
• The first fairy form was before he escaped the first time

Finally got round to making a proper reference page for my OC Ayva. She’s probably the oldest OC I actually still draw, and she tends to be more or less a mascot for me online.
