#foodtripping road trip memories: Cellar Door Chocolates in Louisville, Kentucky

While we often think of Kentucky as famous for horse racing and bourbon, this artisanal chocolatier is certainly a home-grown sweetheart. Owner Erika Chavez-Graziano is doing wonderful things with chocolate, and she has quite the reputation - for the past few years Cellar Door has been the official chocolatier for the Emmys. From traditional options like chocolate covered salted caramels, to wasabi pea bark, there is plenty to try. And being Kentucky, one of the shop’s specialties is bourbon balls. Read the full report here.

Hot-tip: Erika’s personal favorite is the anise chocolate - give it a try if you’re a licorice fan.
