Hiding in Plain Sight
My 70 Leeds cinema illustrations neatly bound into a brilliantly blue book!
The first title in the brand new Colours May Vary *Editions* series.
Each publication will document the exhibitions they have hosted as well as selected works from artists and designers they have worked with.
This book features 70 Leeds cinema illustrations I created to accompany the heritage project developed by the Hyde Park Picture House

The book is an edition of 750 copies, each hand-numbered, with a select few signed by yours truly.

Ed Freeman is an artist-photographer whose work is intriguing, unsettling and definitely worth watching. Much of his work involves shooting abandoned buildings and photoshopping them into isolated locations.

- The most popular name for currently operating drive-in theaters is ‘Starlite Drive-in’. There are currently 10 drive-ins in the United States named the Starlite Drive-in (including those that spell it Starlight).
- Currently, New York has the most operating drive-ins of any state with 30 (PA second: 29, Ohio third: 23).
- Alaska, Hawaii, Louisiana, and North Dakota are the only states with zero drive-ins.
- The largest operating drive-in in the United States, measured by car capacity, according to the website, is the Ford Wyoming Drive-in in Dearborn, MI. It can hold around 3,000 cars.
- The smallest drive-in in the United States is the Spud Drive-in in Driggs, ID. It can hold around 75 cars.
- The largest operating drive-in theater in the United States, measured by number of screens, is the Swap Shop Drive-in located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. It has 14 screens and is open year-round.
