Happy Tuesday to you lovely looking folks out there in the interwebs. I hope it was as exciting as it could be, and let me say this, spring break can’t come soon enough (lol). Today to get into more of a Spring mood I chose a yellow shirt to give a bit of vibrance and also a pair of dark grey pants as well. I hadn’t wore these in horsebits in a while from Cole Haan, so they ultimately got the call today. With that said, we move onwards to Wednesday and the halfway point of this week.

Happy Monday to you all awesome folks and I hope it was a great start to the week as well. Today we started our second day of spring, and boy oh boy that weather (and pollen) are kicking. I decided on a white shirt w/ blue/gold stripes, navy pants, and black/blue/gray socks. I didn’t really have any particular footwear in mind, so I chose the go to Cole Haan loafers. With that said, we move on to Tuesday.

Happy Thursday to you wonderful folks and also Happy St. Patrick’s Day as well. Today we had some fairly nice weather, and that’s all a man can ask for. Since we like to be in the spirit of holidays I decided upon my olive green dress pants as well as a white dress shirt. I almost went with a tie, but I decided to forego it today. To finish off the ensemble I added in a pair of Cole Haan’s (almost went with horsebits to keep the look of a leprechaun, but again I left it alone). With that said we move on to Friday and the weekend.

Happy Monday to all of you amazing people, and I hope it was as magical as it could be. Today was a slow day turned decently well, but overall it was good. I will say DST almost messed me up as I got home Saturday night when the time changed, but I still lost an hour. But now time to put a positive spin on this week by looking good. I opted for a blue and white striped shirt and navy pants, and to end out a pair of Cole Haan penny loafers. The cardigan was added after seeing the temperature this morning. Happy Friday to everyone and I hope it was as fantastic as it could be. So…. this weather has once again turned on us in a blink of an eye, first we’re cold and then we’re hot. But, this wasn’t going to stop me from looking as good as I could. Today, we have a red and blue checkered shirt and Khakis for of an informal look with the added tassel loafers to keep in like with such high standards. I did have on a fleece quarter zip this morning, but that was removed once temperatures started to skyrocket. With that said, enjoy your weekend, and we begin again on Monday.

Happy Wednesday to you fine folks out there, and I hope it was as wonderful as could be. I will be honest, it felt like one thing after another, but hey, what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Today I decided to for a three way mix in colors starting with this lovely orange shirt, and navy blue pants. I figured sense I had a solid color scheme and with the socks that I had on, why not add a silver tie (to accent the color in the socks), and lastly a pair of shoes that haven’t seen as much wear as normal, Cole Haan Braganos (woven). They fit so well, and the vintage style is something I adore. Without further ado, onto Thursday.

Happy Monday to everyone and a great start to the new week as well. Today was as productive as it could be, not too overwhelming as some Monday’s are. The color choice for today was mostly blue as you could see (not reflecting any sad emotions), but more looking for a chance to wear the light blue pair of pants that never get to see the light of day too much. Happy Wednesday to everyone out there and I hope it was as whimsical as it could be. Today it was another “warmer” day for us here in the southern states, and I’m doing my best to predict these weather conditions. Today’s color scheme was based on my college Alma Mater colors as it was HBCU day for us. So I donned a light blue shirt and a yellow tie for the occasion. I was able to put away the more heavier socks and stuck with a lighter fabric material and the pants were tan to even everything else out. Mind the cardigan, it was a bad choice. Nonetheless, onwards to Thursday.

Happy Tuesday to you fine folks, and I hope you either had a restful Monday (like I due to President’s Day) or a productive Monday. All I can say is that the bed and I were one until 12 PM on Sunday. Nonetheless, I start off the new week with a blue and yellow color scheme along with a pair of navy pants. It’s been early nights and early mornings around here, but at least the outfits help keep everything intact. Happy Wednesday gentleman and can you believe we’re halfway through another week and this time at the beginning of another month. Today, I got to sport a new tie that I acquired of at a low price of $2 from Goodwill. It looked wayyyy too good to pass up, and it matches perfectly with the orange shirt. The socks are of course a change up from previous selections, and we tie all together with a pair of Cole Haan loafers (w/ kilties & tassels). With that being said, onwards to Thursday.

Happy Thursday to you gentlemen, and hopefully it was a wonderful Thursday as well. Today we had a 90s theme going on, so I did best to keep it as 90s as possible. I did decide to take the classic route with a pair of penny loafers and the sweater itself is from the 90s, so there ya go. Not too much color variation today, but it kept me warm. One more day til the weekend, and it can’t get here fast enough.

Happy Friday to everyone, and especially since it’s the start of a four day weekend. This is another once in a blue moon post, and this time I’m on more of the preppy casual spectrum that I’m doing my best to incorporate into my everyday life.
Today was pretty simple, and I started with this multicolored OCBD, a pair of kahki pants, and penny loafers. I’m diving a bit into the Ivy territory, but it was something a little new for me. And I’m happy with the way it turned out. But since school is out, I don’t want this stop at that environment and I’m looking to acquire some more OCBD’s as well.

Happy Thursday to everyone out there. I know that it has been a very LONG minute since I have posted something, and I’m not going to lie I’ve been keeping it semi-casual at work (I know, blasphemy). But I return to you today with a quality looking outfit in part due to a meeting that I had as well.
I’ve started to notice that more of the earth tones suit me fairly well, and that’s what I decided to go with today. I’ve got on a pink dress shirt, tan dress pants, no tie, a brown windowpane suit jacket from Cianni, and brown two-tone loafers from Cole Haan. All in all a nice transition back from casual at least for the day.
But with that said, we move on into Friday and the weekend.

Happy Thursday gentlemen and can you believe we’re almost at the end of this week yet again. Time flies when you’re having fun.
Today I decided to take it casual again after yesterday, but I still kept the blazer at the ready. I’m finding more opportunities to wear these suit jackets and blazers as time goes on.
As for everything else I went with a light blue OCBD from Ralph Lauren, black dress pants from Apt 9, the navy blue blazer from Joseph Abboud, and another pair of penny loafers this week from Cole Haan.
As the summer months start to approach I will be looking into lighter weight shirts, pants, and blazers/sport coats. But for now we shall prevail.

Happy Wednesday to everyone out there, and I do hope that you are getting through this halfway point of the week as easy as possible.
Today was a special day of sorts, and it was important to make sure I could look as feel as good as possible. A majority of this entire of this outfit is new to me, and came straight from Goodwill.
To start I acquired this dark grey/brownish lambswool suit jacket, the red patterned dress shirt from Ralph Lauren, a yellow/silver/red/black from Giorgio Brutini, and Cole Haan Penny loafers. The gray dress pants I have had for about a year or so.
I did my best on color coordination, and made sure that every represented was represented twice or at least was complementing other colors.
But with that said, we move on to Thursday, and getting through the rest of this week.

Happy Tuesday out there in the world of social media. I hope that you all had a great and fantastic Tuesday, as we continue on with Spring and this ever so nice weather.
Today I decided to stick with a somewhat neutral color pallette. Starting with my white w/ blue and yellow dots dress shirt, navy dress pants, and a tan/khaki sweater. I opted for Cole Haan Penny loafers as you can never go wrong with a set of those.
All in all as I continue down this fashion train, I’m learning more and more each and every day. One new thing I’ve learned so far, difference in shirt types (i.e. button down, button up, and traditional). You learn something new everyday.

Today wasn’t as bad, and given that we were delayed two hours in starting time, that made the day better. However, it still called for getting “professional”, and I always enjoy doing that.
