Back in 2013, I was enough lucky to join the art departement team of Secret Life of Pets. It was a pleasure to work with amazing art director Colin Stimpson. I started with Color Set and Props then also had the opportunity to make my very first key lights on this film. It was 2 years and half of production and it was great to see the progression of the film from the beginning to the end, the background and the sequences I painted taking life on 3D.

I made a huge set of color keys based off the game Super Mario RPG:
Legend of the Seven Stars, a game that I’ve really loved since I was a teen.
This is a super self indulgent project that is very much an interpretation from the heart, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
