I’m seeing catb in 10 days!!

is anyone going to The Ride listening party in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday?

As of right now our group will not be marching in the parade (based on the lack of participants last year and personal financial issues) but if possible I’d like to do a meet up while at pride this year if anyone is up for it!

Hello Central Ohio Aces and Aros!
We might actually have a chance to go to pride this year! Me and one other member are currently considering marching this year and I want to know who else wants to march with us?

Since our group isn’t for profit we don’t really have a way to pay for fees but! We can split the payment amount the members (or non members, I’m not picky and the closer to 9 people we have the cheaper it will be for everyone) who are planning to March!
If you are interested please send a message to the group (since I’m on mobile most of the time and checking the mailbox is more effort then it’s worth) or you can pm me on my main blog @coolcat101s

Let me know!
And remember we have to register by June 5th

I legit thought I was gonna pass out when I got to the top, loool… the hill was mad steep.

This has been a wild year so far… the dichotomy of culture changing covid and blm vs one of my books being on the nyt bestsellers list 10weeks straight and potentially getting to work with a client of my dreams… it’s really hard to wrap my head around everything. It’s an extremely weird feeling to be honest, but nothing makes me feel more grounded than hiking in the woods or biking in the city. Thankful for things I can rely on, thankful for simplicity.

Rode our bikes to the George Floyd demonstration at the statehouse. He was brutally executed in Minnesota on the street a week ago. I’ve never been to a protest rally where the police presence is so extra and intimidating. Helicopters, officers on the roof, filing out the building like ants, at every edge of the premises, on every street leaving downtown. And they just stand there, even at the protestors request they don’t empathize. The problem is racism, the policing itself, and the systems that support all of it. Sad to say, this outrage is inevitable and will continue to happen until structural change occurs. I never could’ve imagined that 2020 would be like this and that black people would still be fighting against those who kill and dehumanize us.

Sooo I JUST took this photo of downtown Columbus, Ohio on fire. And did this painting for my bro like 4 years ago…legit goosebumps. This painting is inspired by the Tulsa Race Massacre and gentrification in Columbus

This color palette though So glad I was able to check out Otherworld this past weekend. Such a dope Exhibit/Installation.
