Pretty sure that would mean the fellas drink tree sap or something. Imagine running from a vampire thru the woods and passing her husband who’s biting a tree real hard
(I know this would obviously never happen in-story for more than just the obvious obvious reasons of both gay and rework but maybe this might lead people to some ideas for how to make this work and still make sense in the lore)
McHanzo becomes a thing, they eventually decide to get married, hiding from “the baggage associated with the name Jesse McCree”(iykwim both Watsonian and Doylist) he takes Hanzo’s last name, turns out the dragons truly are magic and “only a Shimada can control the dragons” was literal enough to not mean those of Shimada blood (but not just those with that last name, it has to connect you to that line) and now there’s another dragon “living” in his six-shooter
