This Sunday (December 15th) is the last day to order a digital or physical copy of the South Park zine @adealandadevilzine, and other than me shilling those reblogs like I do with my fic posts, I thought I might share another preview of my story, “Duality”. (My first preview, here, was pretty short.) This excerpt gives a little more info on what the story is about.

The seminary in Briar Glen was known for training Brother Craig within its walls. It was a modest school tucked away in the Azure Valley. When Brother Craig moved to the capital, he left behind one of his best friends and classmates, Brother Jimmy. He stayed as a part-time teacher and full-time scholar, specializing in the examination of historical texts. Primarily, he focused on those written about the balance crises that had occurred since the dawn of time.
He sighed and furrowed his brow. He had heard from a colleague in Rochdale that Brother Craig had left to fight the Demon Lord Tweek, and never returned. They feared him dead.
‘Brother Craig was strong indeed’, they wrote, ‘but he was foolish to think that he could slay the Demon Lord alone. He believed that he was the light to vanquish the darkness, but clearly he was mistaken.’
Brother Jimmy knew the truth. He knew Brother Craig better than anyone, and he was a more powerful cleric than he let on. He was a skilled healer, and his mastery of holy magic for combat and defense was unparalleled. However, Brother Craig was a quiet man, keeping the truth about his power hidden. Only a trusted few knew his true capabilities. He vowed to only ever use his magic to protect others, and didn’t want the knowledge of power to put others at risk. It was obvious to Brother Jimmy that he would have been the one destined to return balance to the world.
What didn’t sit right was his disappearance. Brother Jimmy knew that his friend must have been captured by the Demon Lord Tweek. He had to be alive. It was the only thing that made sense.
He took a deep breath as he put his pen to parchment. It was more a plea for help than a call to arms, and Brother Jimmy put his heart and soul into it. Hopefully some brave souls would heed his message, joining him on his quest to find his friend and defeat the demon Tweek, once and for all.
So I tried to recreate a comic cover but, obviously, I’m not a graphic designer isn’t the best but can be worst I guess <3 I draw this the same dame of hte OTP aniversary what a happy memory ♥
