and decided to follow the link it gives (which leads here)…and I see this in the article:
Actor/professional weirdo Crispin Glover attempted a few years back to make a documentary about the Star Trek Slash subculture (tentatively titled The Captain’s Log), but had to abort the project when Paramount refused to let him use copyrighted material.
I…I don’t know what to say. My favorite “actor/professional weirdo” almost made a documentary about Star Trek slash. Now I can’t stop imagining what this documentary might have been like. Could you imagine Crispin narrating such a documentary? What strange rambling comments might he have made? What if he decided to read some slash fic aloud? For those of you on the DS9 tag…Here is a sample of how this guy reads aloud. I just…I can’t stop thinking of what could have been. And also now I will probably read all slash fic in Crispin’s voice for a while.
