Ideas for ageswap bandee and dedede that aren’t polished so they’re not really canon to my ageswap au (yet) lmao but yeah they were fun to think about so I want to post them somewhere
Let me tell ya, It’s one HECK of an uphill battle taking on the challenge no one but myself has given me to write a character arc for ANIME!Dedede in a fictitious KRBAY 3rd season while juggling other characters and shtuff I feel will add too it so that it doesn’t feel like he’s getting more imaginary screen time than Kirby or anyone else tbh.
SPEAKING OF! Do you know how hard it is to try and write Kirby as a character whilst also trying to keep in mind the whole “avoid giving him a fixed impression, as Kirby is a game character whose image differs from one player to another.” thing that the show was apparently trying to go for? I might jus’ say screw it and throw that idea out the nearest window with all the spite of a committed Dark Soul’s player.
It’s our last day at the con!! It was so much fun, and I had a great time! I cosplayed Dedede and my sibling cosplayed Meta Knight(with a special butterfly guest )
Dedede always has his crown on 24/7, when he sleeps he puts a cap to cover the crown.
If anyone tries to take off Dedede’s hat by force, he’ll panic and attack whoever did it
When he feels down, sometimes he’ll try and take off his crown, but he’ll stop
He’ll only let the people dear to him have it, but after 5 minutes or so he’ll want it back
The reason why he always wants to keep his crown on is because of the pressure of being a king and being the guide for the waddle dees, and to him throwing away the crown is a disgraceful act
Ok so In the Kirby Anine timeline, everything seems normal until dedede’s home gets destroyed by nightmare when he is 7.
Although his life was great when he was with his parents, they basically neglected him and the only thing he got was toys and food.
He’s about to be killed until a young meta knight rescues him, meta knight asks him where does he live, and dedede doesn’t know (poor education and brain damage) so meta knight takes him to the GSA base
The GSA makes an offer to dedede that if he wants to stay, he’ll have to learn how to help the army, either fighting, healing, or crafting weapons.
Meta Knight then tries to teach Dedede himself how to make weapons, and Dedede makes it into the GSA army.
Dedede acts very hostile towards anyone else but meta knight, but later on he’ll learn to work with them
While making weapons, Dedede learned how to fight with his iconic hammer, but keeps it a secret due to GSA being mostly swordsmen
