Thinking about green knight
The Green Knight was wonderful.
A bit slow in parts, but overall beautiful, atmospheric, mythical and even a bit humorous.
It subverts some of the expectations and themes of the original poem, but provides its own interesting hero’s journey (if one would consider this version of Gawain “heroic”).

(As the movie ended, some guy behind us in the theater said to his companion: “Dude, I was so freakin’ lost the entire time. That was the worst movie EVER!”… Certainly explains the vast dissonance between critics’ and audiences’ scores on Rotten Tomatoes)
