#diary of a new dead by daylight player

LIVE

Survivors who are super salty give me life. Both as killer and as survivor.

Does this mean I don’t get salty? No. But I don’t bother airing it in the post game chat. It isn’t worth it to me. So I give a good game, well played when deserved, a have fun and good luck with your next games, throw out some hearts, and politely leave.

And then get over it.

Because it’s a game.

And my idea of a good game as either survivor or killer is more about getting some points and having a good experience than about 4ks or escapes. If I can help my fellow survivors and not get tunneled immediately and actually get a chance to play the game, I’m happy. If I get to run around and hit people and hit generators and hit pallets and the survivors escape and I get “Entity Displeased” but I had fun, I’m happy.

And if survivors get salty, I laugh. I may vent a little to a friend, but, in the end, I laugh.

Some games will be amazing and others will be crappy. It seems to be the nature of this game, and I’m ultimately okay with that. And if the games are just consistently bad one day, I’ll sign off and play something else.

Regardless, salty survivors give me life. As do salty killers.
